Intro to Ballet Course at SADC
This four-class introductory ballet course is designed for adults at all experience levels—whether you’re new to ballet, returning after a long break, or looking to refine your foundational skills. Each class builds progressively, offering a comprehensive introduction to the beauty and discipline of ballet.

Adult Ballet at BCB
Adult Ballet: Foundations & Flow is designed for dancers ready to strengthen fundamentals and deepen artistry. Blending technique, musicality, and expressive movement, this recurring class creates space for consistent practice and ongoing growth in a supportive community. This class offers adults an inviting space to practice ballet with patience, curiosity, and care. Beginning with barre and progressing into center work, dancers will explore alignment, musicality, and foundational technique at a pace that balances structure with self-discovery.

Absolute Beginning Ballet at SADC
This class is designed for dancers with some ballet experience and dancers who are wanting to practice in a slow-paced and patient atmosphere with plenty of room for curiosity and questions. Classes will focus on learning placement, musicality, basic patterns of movement, and foundational terminology and principles of ballet with an emphasis on building a felt sense of the technique in each dancer’s own body. We will begin at the barre and then progress into the center where we’ll translate the building blocks of technique into combinations that move us through space. Absolutely Beginning Ballet is an opportunity to practice and research the foundations of ballet technique in an ongoing and fuller class progression at a gently faster pace than in our Intro to Ballet Workshops. We ask that you attend at least 1-2 Intro to Ballet Sessions or come with some prerequisite Ballet experience. While ballet attire is not required, dancers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing with socks or ballet shoes. Layers and a water bottle are recommended.
