I had the pleasure of performing with the incredible Black Pearl Dance Theater during their Black History Month Showcase at Georgetown University. Stepping in last minute after one of their dancers fell ill was hectic but incredibly rewarding! Dancing alongside other talented and beautiful Black women to celebrate our voices and stories, often overlooked by the mainstream, was a truly enriching experience.
