Kennedy Center New Choreographic Works: Trials to Freedom

I had the honor of performing with BREathe Dance Project in Trials to Freedom, showcased at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. This powerful performance explored the stories of enslaved Africans at the start of their journey to America, capturing the emotions they experienced as they prepared to board the ships. Through movement, we conveyed resilience, sorrow, and hope, offering a profound reflection on history and human connection. My involvement allowed me to collaborate with talented artists, deepening my expressive capabilities and stage presence. This experience reinforced my commitment to the arts and my passion for storytelling through dance.
